Computer and Engineering Studies prepare students for careers in online and/or open learning graduate studies in Computer Hardware and Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing and Electrical Engineering, Engineering Science, Civil and Architectural Engineering. The curricula enable students to master the fundamental principles of science, principles on which they will base their dynamically changing professional future practice. The educational principles of the program, a balance between theory and practice, enable students to attain competence in analyzing all aspects of a problem, in formulating solutions and in evaluating alternative approaches, in light of all available information. The student becomes familiar not only with present state-of-the-art of the selected scientific field, but also demonstrates an aptitude for mathematics and science, enabling him/her to adapt to the continuously changing demands and challenges of our post-industrial age.
